GMC has yet to find the market limit regarding how much people are willing to pay when it comes to full-size Denali products. In an effort to keep reaching for the ceiling, GMC introduced the Denali Ultimate package on the last-generation Sierra 1500 and Yukon Denali models. Yet the brand seemed to have found an even greater appetite for a loaded-to-the-brim full-size American SUV. Go figure, more millionaires drive pickup trucks than anything else these days, so the market is primed for big GMC products to thrive in. Today, MC&T is reporting on the latest high-end package from Big Red: The 2021 GMC Yukon Denali Deluxe Package. It will be one of three upgrade packages for the Yukon Denali, below the Denali Premium Package (PDK) and the range-topping Denali Ultimate Package (PEC). It will cost $5,750.
Found in the official order guide, the 2021 GMC Yukon Denali Deluxe Package (RPO code “PCL”) consists of the following:
(CWN) Advanced Technology Package
(UW9) Rear Seat Media System
(RPU) 22-inch bright machined aluminum wheels with premium paint and (SFE) wheel locks.
All of the above options are available a la carte, but when bundled together, customers can save $75 (!) with the Denali Deluxe Package. What a screamin’ deal. The package is not available with the Denali Premium Package, Denali Ultimate Package, Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, or Power-Sliding Center Console. However, the 22-inch wheels can be subbed out for any accessory wheel.
The 2021 GMC Yukon is built in Arlington, Texas, where General Motors is fixing to ramp up production after a two-month setback from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2021 Yukon will start at $51,995 in short wheelbase spec, while the extended 2021 GMC Yukon XL begins at $54,695 including the $1,295 destination charge. Should you want to step up to a 4×4 model in base SLE spec, those prices jump to $54,995 for the Yukon and $57,695 for the XL respectively. The 2021 model year carries only a $100 premium over the outgoing model in base spec, though the XL see a slightly higher $1,000 price hike.
