FCA is updating their 2021 Ram 1500 and Ram HD pickup trucks with a stealthy and menacing looking Limited Night Edition, intended to give customers a new way to personalize their trucks. In addition, Ram has announced the Limited Black Edition for the 1500 and HD will hit dealerships late third quarter 2020.
The Night Edition trucks are offered on the Limited trim level, the most luxurious Ram in the lineup. The blackout appearance comes from a black grille, Ram logo, badging, wheels, headlights and taillights, exhaust tips, and mirrors. They also have body color painted bumpers, giving a stealthy monochromatic look all around. On the inside, the trucks get the 19-speaker Harmon Kardon premium sound system.

Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition trucks get a sport hood, trim-fold black tonneau cover, and can choose between 20 or 22 inch wheels. HD trucks get the tonneau cover, and 20 inch black wheels on single wheel trucks, while dualies get 17 inch wheels with machined pockets.
The Limited Black Edition gets many of the same exterior appointments the Night Edition gets, but is only offered in a black exterior color. Previous information suggested it would only be available for 2500 and 3500 HD models, but now 1500 customers can spec the package too.

The 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Night Edition is on sale now, and starts at $60,445. It’s available in 4×2 and 4×4 configuration, Crew Cab, and with any powertrain option. The Limited Night Edition for HD trucks is available on 2500 and 3500 versions, with 4×4 or 4×2, Crew Cab or the HD-exclusive Mega Cab, and will start at $62,930. Expensive, but then again, these visual packages are only offered on the top of the line Limited trim.
With these new trucks, the 2021 Ram lineup is looking extremely strong. With the the Hellcat powered TRX off-road warrior joining the lineup, the rest of the 2021 lineup is getting the interior updates that model introduced. Along with the Limited Black and Night editions, Ram is looking like they are ready to take on the fire from the all-new 2021 Ford F-150 and soon to be updated Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
