2022 FORD BRONCO BUILD AND PRICE TOOL GOES LIVE

Online orders for the 2021 Bronco are officially closed, and production of the inaugural model year will finish in a few months. With that, Ford Motor Company has launched the build and price tool for the 2022 Ford Bronco lineup, consisting of six different trim levels, manual transmission availability on the Sasquatch Package, and teasers of the upcoming Bronco Raptor and Bronco Everglades special editions.

2022 Ford Bronco Trim Levels

There are a total of six trim levels that, at the time of this writing, can utilize the price and build tool. Those trims include the Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands, and Wildtrak. All Models offer two and four door configurations.

The manual transmission comes standard on the Base, Big Bend, Black Diamond and Badlands models. However, as promised, 2.3L EcBoost models can now be configured with a Sasquatch Package, while retaining a clutch pedal. This combination is affectionately nicknamed the “Mansquatch” package. A 10-speed automatic is available for an additional $1,595 USD. It’s the only transmission available for the up-level 2.7L EcoBoost V6.

Every trim level offers two new colors, Eruption Green and Hot Pepper Red. The Hot Pepper Red comes at a mild up-charge of $295.

Starting Prices Per Model

The Base model 2022 Bronco starts out at $29,300 The next trim level up is the Big Bend Model starting out at $33,785. The Black Diamond after that comes in at $36,450 Outer Banks sits at $39,355. The top two tier of the models available right now are the Badlands and Wildtrak. These SUVs start at a price point of $42,495, and $47,780, respectively.

The range-topping Wildtrak comes standard with the Sasquatch package, advanced 4×4, and a molded on color hardtop roof. All of these prices are MSRP before taxes, transportation and other fees.

Bronco Raptor And Everglades Special Editions Coming

By summer of 2022, the hyped-up Bronco Raptor and geared-up Bronco Everglades will be available. The limited-edition Everglades will come equipped with a factory installed winch and snorkel, which would be a first for a Ford product. The Bronco Raptor, meanwhile, is expected to have a more powerful EcoBoost engine, 37-inch tires, and Fox Racing shocks. 

While the Bronco has stumbled a bit out of the corral, it seems like Ford’s iconic horse is just starting to gallop.
