The 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 price hasn’t been announced yet, but there have been quite a few good guesses. And while the folks at Chevrolet will not outright admit to anybody’s predictions, Corvette Product Marketing Manager Harlan Charles did give us a hint.
Harlan Charles was recently a guest on the Corvette Today Podcast, where the topic of the 2023 Corvette Z06 price came up.
“The pricing will be announced soon,” said Harlan on the show. “We do not have it all finalized out yet, but we are telling people basically if you are used to comparing the previous generation Stingray to the Z06, base to base pricing, it shouldn’t be something you don’t expect.”
2023 C8 Corvette Z06 Price Predictions
The difference in price between the base model C7 Stingray and base C7 Z06 was about $27,000 according to a CorvetteBlogger post. So, if the 2022 C8 Corvette Stingray has an MSRP of $62,195, then applying a $27,000 difference might be safe to assume a 2023 Chevy Z06 would cost somewhere around the $90,000 mark, give or take.
With production for the new Z06 expected to begin in May of 2022 we may get an official announcement on the final settled price in the next few months.
The 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 made its debut on October 26th of 2021 in case you missed it, which took place through a 30-minute video featuring snippets from the GM Milford Proving Grounds, the Nürburgring, and even Le Mans. The new Z06 is highlighted by a groundbreaking, record-setting 5.5L flat-plane crank DOHC V8 engine, codenamed LT6. Producing 670 horsepower, it’s the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 engine to ever make it into a production car. Race proven, the engine architecture of the LT6 has been put through the paces since the 2020 IMSA racing season with the Corvette Racing C8.R, which has gone to win back-to-back GTLM championships.
Will the racing pedigree of the C8 Corvette Z06 be worth the money? We’ll have to wait just a little longer to know for sure.
