The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV Work Truck will be the first production version of the upcoming electric Silverado. General Motors has revealed that this vehicle has seen high demand for good reason. Chevrolet recently brought the car to the 2023 Work Truck show in Indianapolis, and TFL got a closer look at the pre-production model on display. From what we can see, there are some slight deviations from the original images released by GM, pictured below.

2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV WT Changes And Details

One thing that immediately stands out is the truck’s front fascia, which has the body color extended to the front bumper. Previous images of the Chevrolet Silverado EV Work Truck had a blacked-out front fascia, though the grille remains dark plastic. Additionally, the mirrors on the work truck appear to be gloss black rather than matte black, as seen on the front bumper, which adds a bit of a luxurious touch to the vehicle. As for the Frunk, it is slightly larger than the Hummer EV, which is helpful for the intended use of the truck.

The visual changes could be because of the trim level on this particular 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV WT. According to Andre at TFL, it’s either a 3WT or 4WT build, suggesting this electric work truck is as loaded as possible.

As for power, the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV WT will produce 510 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque, which should be more than enough to accomplish whatever is required on a work site. GM has also estimated that the truck can tow up to 8,000 lbs. Additionally, there is an 11-inch diagonal color touch-screen on the inside of the vehicle, and the center screen has a slight angle towards the driver. As for outlets to power tools, there’s a 120-volt outlet located in the Frunk and a 240-volt outlet in the bed. But, if you need more, four 120-volt power outlets are also in the bed.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
