If you haven’t heard, Dodge began taking applicants on January 20th for their new chief donut maker position. The job pays $150,000 USD a year and comes with a company Dodge SRT Hellcat. The deadline is February 28th, which is just two weeks away, making this the final call for anyone who wants to try and get the position. Applicants need to show, in a short video (maximum length of two minutes), that they embody the spirit of the founding Dodge Brothers.

The brand has already received more than 135,000 entries as of February 11th, and there have been nearly 1.3 million site views on the chief donut maker landing page. As Dodge’s mascot, the chief donut maker will be a Dodge ambassador, decked out in Dodge gear, rubbing shoulders with celebs at epic auto events, and leveling up their driving skills at Radford Racing School. All the while, they are getting to drive a Dodge SRT Hellcat. Best of all, the position won’t even require them to quit their day job, but with $150,000 a year, we can’t imagine many would want to keep their day job while holding such an awesome title under their belt.

Dodge Chief Donut Maker: The Hiring Process

Dodge has enlisted former WCW champion wrestler Bill Goldberg to oversee a competition between the top 10 finalists that will put their talents to the test. Contestants will be thrown into wild, hot-seat scenarios, including racing a Dodge horsepower heavyweight (with a professional driver on a closed track). The competitions will then be aired like a reality TV show as each contestant is eliminated until the final episode, where Dodge’s new chief donut maker will be revealed this spring. The goal is to turn the winner into a celebrity that will be the poster boy/girl of Dodge for years to come. At worst, you meet Goldberg.

The application deadline for the position is on February 28th, 2022, which means that time is starting to run short for aspiring donut makers. But, if you don’t act fast, this opportunity will slip through your fingertips. Aspiring donut makers can submit their applications at the Dodge Garage.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
