The 2019 Woodward Dream Cruise had official displays and activations throughout the day. Ford had Mustang Alley, a Bronco meet up, and even a full performance vehicle display with the GT supercar. Meanwhile, Chevrolet took over the Birmingham Triangle with the C8 Corvette on display. All of it was fairly tame. Then there was Dodge, which anchored the Dream Cruise at the very north end of Woodward Avenue in Pontiac. The music was loud, the Mopar cars were radical, and the burnouts happened every minute.
With so much going on, it felt like the heart and soul of Woodward, and American car culture by extension. In many ways, it felt like a repeat of Roadkill Nights that happened just the weekend before. We’re sure to come back next year. In the meantime, check out the highlight gallery below.
