JEEP GLADIATOR CURRENTLY HAS BETTER DEALS THAN WRANGLER

Jeep Wrangler Drops Employee Pricing For All Promotion

Back in April, the Jeep Wrangler got the brand’s Employee Pricing For All sales promotion, which allowed for great savings on the iconic SUV. The promotion could save up to $5,000 on select models, but Cars Direct just noticed that promotion is no longer available. Interestingly, the Jeep Gladiator still gets the Employee Pricing discounts, making some Gladiator models equal or better value than their Wrangler counterpart.

This is exciting because the Gladiator has typically been slightly more expensive than the Wrangler across the range. Bringing the two in line with pricing allows the decision between Wrangler and Gladiator to be if you prefer a truck or SUV, not because one is more expensive than the other. And in many cases, the Gladiator is better value.

For comparison, the Jeep Gladiator Overland starts at $36,897 after discounts, while the Wrangler Sahara comes in $1,748 more at $38,645. Usually, with these comparable trim levels, the Gladiator is a near-identical $1,750 more expensive at $40,395. That also gives you a total of $3,489 in savings on the Gladiator Overland.

Other Gladiator trims are a similar story, with the more expensive trims giving bigger discounts. The top of the range, luxury focused Gladiator High Altitude offers whopping $5,143 in savings. It also comes in at $3,393 less than the Wrangler High Altitude.

Jeep Gladiator Mojave

Unfortunately, the most off-road focused Jeep Gladiator models do not offer Employee Pricing. The Rubicon and brand new Mojave models lack the great savings. Both are priced identically though, at $43,875. A Jeep Wrangler Rubicon stays $1,435 cheaper than its Gladiator counterpart. The “Desert Rated” badge will work its way from the Gladiator Mojave to other models in the Jeep lineup, starting with the upcoming Wrangler Mojave, which should follow in its siblings footsteps and offer the same base price as the Rubicon.

If you’ve been holding off on a new Gladiator because of the price (or a deadly virus spreading around), now’s a great time to go buy one with the Employee Pricing still available on it. With the program canceled for the Wrangler, the Gladiator promotions may not be around much longer.
