The configurator has just been published for the 2021 Chevy Colorado, offering buyers their first chance to visualize and build their mid-size pickup.
In the popular crew cab/short box configuration, the base model 2021 Chevy Colorado in WT trim with the 2.5L four-cylinder and 2WD carries an MSRP of $28,295. Select the 3.6L V6 option, which comes with the eight-speed automatic transmission, and that price jumps up to $29,780. In WT spec, four-wheel drive is a $3515 option exclusively available with the V6 engine.
The LT trim level is also available with the four-cylinder in 2WD spec, and carries an MSRP of $30,895. The V6-powered LT models will start at $32,380, with 4×4 carrying an additional price hike of $3215. The Z71 and ZR2 models are both only available with the V6 engine, and carry a base price of $34,995 and $44,395 respectively. The ZR2 is of course only available in off-road crushing four-wheel drive, while the extra transfer case will cost $3200 on the Z71 model.
You can only have the truck in five colors for 2021: Stain Steel Metallic, Summit White, Black, Bright Blue Metallic ($395), or Cherry Red Tintcoat ($495). A sixth color will be joining the lineup later down the line called Crush, which is a vibrant orange. Interior trimmings are dependent on the starting trim level and the packages selected, but leather becomes available on the LT models with the Luxury Package.
Speaking of packages, the 2021 Chevy Colorado offers up a ton of different options for buyers. Again dependent on the model you’re starting with, some of the highlights include the
Redline Special Edition Package, the Performance Skid Plate Package, the Sports Appearance Package, and of course the sinister Z71 Midnight Edition package.
While the mid-size truck isn’t as expensive as its larger siblings, one can easily drive the price up with the list of equipment Chevrolet has on offer. You can add everything from a cat-back exhaust to one of 43 different bed-related accessories in the catalogue.
