The idea of a “sport truck” may mean different things to enthusiasts. Shelby Super Sanke F-150 and Super Snake Sport
The two-door 2021 Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport is built into the Ford F-150 XLT 4×4 trim model, and the four-door version of the Shelby Super Snake is built into the Lariat 4×4 trim model. Both versions come with a supercharge option that will cost a bit more, but here at Muscle Cars and Trucks, we definitely believe it is totally worth it and think you would be making a big mistake if you opt for one without the supercharger option.
There will only be 600 2021 Shelby F-150 Super Snake and Super Snake Sport trucks built altogether. Divided up, it will be 300 of the two-door sport versions, and 300 of the four-door versions. Next to how big your wallet is, figuring out which one best matching your taste and lifestyle will probably be your biggest problem when shopping for one.
Shelby Super Snake F-150: Aggressive Looks Inside and Out
Compared to a 2021 Ford F-150, the Shelby Super Snake F-150 gets an all-new suspension. The new Ridetech system includes front adjustable Coilover shocks, upper control arms, rear adjustable shocks, rear traction bars, and a rear sway bar that all contributes to an aggressive lowered stance. Helping that lowered stance out is a ground effects kit and 22-inch Shelby chrome alloy wheels with sticky, low-profile 305/40R22 Toyo Proxes tires.
Inside the cabin, you’ll find leather seats, some carbon-fiber action, billet racing pedals, and Shelby Super Snake emblems located throughout. A numbered dash plaque, engine plate, and a center console lid badge come with the Super Snake to promote the truck’s authenticity.
Priced Well, Well Above The Standard 2021 Ford F-150
So how much do you have to pay to get supercharged power in this new Shelby American truck? The 2021 Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport (the single cab, two-door version) will cost you roughly $90,790 without the supercharger. To get the 775 supercharged horsepower setup routed through Borla exhaust, be ready for a bill of around $98,6902. If you’re going for the four-door Shelby Super Snake, look to pay $105,708, without the power goodies, and around $113,680 for the fun stuff. Hey, in a world where they can’t build supercharged trucks fast enough, the price, and the collectability, likely won’t be an issue. Shelby American sells more upfitted trucks than Mustangs at the moment, in case you didn’t know.
