General Motors has unceremoniously ended Chevrolet Camaro production in December of 2023. The last off the line was a white ZL1 1LE, allegedly destined for the GM Heritage Center. But before that happened, the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant managed to birth out the highly coveted Garage 56 and Panther-themed Collector’s Edition Camaros. The former accounts for just 56 units, but it wasn’t immediately clear just how many 2024 Chevrolet Camaro Collector’s Edition muscle cars were built. However, MC&T has acquired the details, as we often do. In total, just 1,335 Camaro Collector’s Edition models were made, across 14 different trim and body style combinations.
Looking at the breakdown just below, the rarest of all Panther Camaros may come as a surprise, as it’s not a ZL1 of some kind. Nor is it even a coupe. But it’s a single 1SS Convertible. A one-of-one. Meanwhile, the 2SS Coupe topped the build sheet with 405 units, followed by the ZL1 Coupe, and then the 3LT Coupe. The LT1 Convertible is another unicorn, as only 4 were made. In other words, if you got one, they should be treated as an appreciating investment, and not just another fun car. Per The Camaro Cave, below are all the detailed build outs:

What’s Next For The Chevrolet Camaro?
The next chapter of the Chevrolet Camaro has yet to be written. While early speculation formed that the seventh-generation Camaro could be a an electric vehicle, it feels unlikely that GM has an appetite to invest in such a program that too few are raising their hands for, let alone would actually commit to buying one. Instead, there have been rumblings of GM reconsidering hybrid vehicle programs, while announcing a major investment in a next-generation Small Block V8 engine about a year ago. If we’re lucky, a seventh-gen Camaro could emerge in some years to rival the Ford Mustang with a fire-blazing V8. If we’re lucky.
Thanks for the numbers. Wondering if you have more specific details ?
Wondering how unique my triple-black 2SS Convertible is.
Panther Black, black top & plain black interior.
