If you’re looking to transport yourself and six others as quickly as possible, your best option is the 2021 Dodge Durango Hellcat. It’s wild 710 hp 6.2 liter supercharged Hellcat V8 will rip it from 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds. It’s also going to be a rare beast, as they’ll only build it for six months. But one key piece of information, how much the SUV will cost, has been missing. Until now. Thanks to findings from Mopar Insiders, they Dodge Durango Hellcat will start at $80,995.
That’s an $18,000 premium over the already rapid Dodge Durango SRT. That being said, it does have an additional 235 hp over the regular SRT, and with the extra performance comes upgrades. Handling is improved through a completely reworked suspension system, bigger wheels and tires, upgraded Brembo brakes, and increased downforce from a new front splitter and rear spoiler. Of course, there are also many Hellcat badges dotted around the vehicle.

Unsurprisingly, optional extras are still pricy and plentiful on the big Hellcat. From Mopar Insiders:
- Premium Interior Package – $2,495
- Technology Group – $2,395
- Rear DVD Entertainment – $1,995
- Red Laguna Leather – $1,595
- Black Package – $1,495
- Power Sunroof – $1,295
- Trailer Tow Package with Brake Control – $1,195
- Dual Stripes – $1,195
- Harman Kardon Premium Audio – $995
- Three-Season Tires – $595
- 2nd Row Console – $595
- Compact Spare – $395
- Blind-Spot/Cross-Path – $495
- Red Seat Belts – $95
- Lightweight Group – No Charge

Add it all up, and you’re looking at upwards of $100,000 before any dealer markups. It’s certainly not cheap, but the 2021 Dodge Durango Hellcat is such a special vehicle it’s likely worth whatever price they charge. It also benefits from the 2021 Durango updates across the range. These include revised front end styling, and a totally new interior.
If that price still seems a little crazy for a Dodge Durango, regardless of the insane performance, consider the SUV has more performance than the German super-SUV competition from the likes of Mercedes AMG, BMW M and Audi RS, yet is cheaper than all of them. In our eyes, this insane creation is worth every penny.
