One of the most noticeable tech features within the Jeep Wagoneer is the passenger screen located on the dash, which gives the passenger the ability to control an assortment of vehicle features. However, it seems that the feature is no longer exclusive to the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models, as Stellantis confirms that it’s headed to the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L.
As far as trim levels go, the feature is available on 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited, Overland, and Summit models. The passenger screen has a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $1,095. You may be wondering what uses one may have for a screen on the passenger dashboard. There are four primary functions: Co-Pilot, which includes navigations and device management, entertainment through HDMI or Rear Seat Entertainment control, Fire TV for Auto, and lastly, the ability to view the exterior vehicle cameras. The HDMI plug allows occupants to connect devices and turn the touchscreen into a display.

2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L: Details
The current pricing for the WL Jeep Grand Cherokee L is available in four different trim levels. The base Laredo trim carries an MSRP of $37,340 in 2WD spec. The limited model sees the MSRP jump to $44,340, whereas the Overland model starts at $53,340. Lastly, the nicest of all Grand Cherokee L models cost $57,340 for the Summit model. All of these prices exclude the $1,695 owed to Stellantis in delivery fees. As with all vehicles, the price is subject to increase for the 2022 model year, although it’s not clear by how much as of yet. As of right now, the 4×4 option is a $2,000 increase in price across the board. But adding 4×4 opens up the possibility to purchase the 5.7L Hemi V8 to the upper two trim levels, which costs an additional $3,295.
