Reports indicate that Stellantis will be making some notable adjustments to its breadwinning Ram 1500 pickup truck family in order to stay manufacturing delays, and keep the supply trickling to product-starved dealerships.

According to Mopar Insiders, Stellantis is dropping all Ram 1500 Quad Cab configurations for the Laramie and Rebel trim levels for 2022. That leaves the Tradesman and the Big Horn/Lone Star that will still have the option of the Quad Cab configuration. When purchasing a Quad Cab or Big Horn model it should be noted that you will not get any sunroof options, power running boards, air suspension, or technology group options moving forward for 2022, says the report.

  1. For the 2022 Bighorn models; it’s not the technology group containing the heads up display, digital rear mirror and rear power window that is being cut to streamline production. The Level 1 safety group package is the package they are removing to streamline production. The level 1 safety group contains the lane keep assist, pedestrian braking, forward collision warning, etc. Confirmed it at the dealership since they are able to take orders right now if you go through the dealership.

  2. technology group removed from back country had to order mine without it, I really really wanted it
