Corvette police cars aren’t a new thing, but the rozzers are yet to get their hands on the mid engined C8. But before they do, graphic artist Aksyonov Nikita has imagined what a C8 Corvette cop car will look like, picked up by CorvetteBlogger. It’s a fantastic rendering with lots of nice details.
First of all, this isn’t just a police car, but a police interceptor. It just sounds better like that, doesn’t it? That graphic on the side flows into the side air intake, showing off the mid-engined proportions. Other graphics include “to protect and serve” on the front fender, and “dial 911” on the rear.

Probably the biggest change to the Corvette police car is the wheel design. Given the lackluster C8 wheel options, these black and silver steelies aren’t too much of a downgrade. They also tie in with the stealthy blackout colors well on this Z51 Performance Package car. Finally, of course, there are the signature red and blue flashing lights. Here, they are rather slim LEDs mounted on the roof, front bumper and rear bumper. There’s also a spotlight on the drivers side A pillar to focus on the baddie.
Overall, the C8 Corvette pulls off the police intercepter look quite well. Still, don’t expect the 2020 Stingray to be sitting on the highway ready to pull over traffic. Customer demand for the Corvette is extremely high, and Chevrolet has extended 2020 production to meet demand. But if any police department is going to get one, it’ll be the infamous Dubai police. Here, the $60,000-$100,000 C8 Corvette will be a bargain addition to the lineup compared to their exotic police vehicles, which include models from McLaren, Bugatti, Lamborghini and more. It’s only a matter of time before this rendering becomes a reality in the UAE.

The C8, Corvette, would be alittle pricey , for a
police vehicle, however they could picked up
speeders or offenders , without a problem! Also
with all that they wear it maybe, hard to get into a smaller, vechicle ! I think they would probably
look for a larger vehicle, too. Enjoyed , your
comments on the website, about the Corvette,
Sam.
