It doesn’t matter what age you are, Lego sets are both undeniably fun, and undeniably collectable. One of the best parts about modern Legos is the sheer abundance of sets geared toward car enthusiasts, both young and old. And the new Dodge SRT Lego Speed Champions set is another cool addition to the current lineup. How cool? As cool as a Plum Crazy 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A. So, pretty cool.

Lego Keeps Upping The Game With Two-Car Sets
Lego creates all of its car-related sets from the Speed Champions series in collaboration with actual manufacturers. This isn’t the first time the Danish toy manufacturer has teamed up with Dodge. Just two years ago, the Dodge/Lego team released a set featuring the then new Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and 1970 Dodge Charger R/T.
Following that same two-car script earlier this June, Lego released the SRT Top Fuel Dragster and 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A together as part of the Dodge SRT Lego Speed Champions set. In an article by dbusiness.com, the Lego Design Lead, Christopher Stamp, is enthusiastic about Lego’s first real push in 2021 to build creative experiences that directly appeal to car enthusiasts and fans across the entire age range.
What’s Included In The Set?
The new set consists of exactly 627 pieces, plenty enough to draw out the realistic details of the actual vehicles. The Dodge SRT Lego Speed Champions set includes plenty of stickers to make the replicas look like the real Mopar deal. The color code for the 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A is a real Dodge color that you probably know, Plum Crazy. The SRT Top Fuel Dragster measures 13.5 inches long and 4 inches high while the classic Dodge Challenger is 5 inches long and 2 inches high. The set is priced at $49.99, not a bad price for two great automotive replicas and top-of-line quality.
Other two-car Lego Speed Champions sets include Chevrolet Corvette C8.R Race Car and 1968 Chevrolet Corvette, or the Ford GT Heritage Edition and Ford Bronco R.
