Cadillac has been working hard to celebrate 20 years of V-Series models, and the latest addition to the 20th Anniversary lineup is the quiet launch of the 2024 CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing models. Both offer new color options, including Cyber Yellow Metallic, as pictured.

Other color options include Coastal Blue Metallic, Velocity Red, and Black Diamond Tricoat. These metallic paint options cost $625 apiece, while the Black Diamond has a hefty $1,995 price tag. To help separate them from their less formidable V-Series siblings, the Blackwings get a distinct badge under the famous V-Series badge on the sides to spell it out for everybody. In addition to the new color options and grille, the 2024 CT5-V Blackwing and CT4-V Blackwing receive new graphics for the digital instrument cluster.

Regarding pricing updates, the MSRP for the CT4-V Blacking is now $61,495. For that price, the car comes standard with a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6, which produces 472 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. It’s also available with a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic, depending on how much control you want to have while driving. As for the CT5-V Blackwing, it now starts at $94,890 with the six-speed manual transmission, and the price for the 10-speed automatic is now $98,065.

Considering the power and performance that comes with the Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing models, the price is likely well worth it for some. For those comparing the Blackwing models against the BMW 5 Series, you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck at this point since BMW got rid of the V8 for those models, which gives way for the CT5-V Blackwing to take over the high-performance sedan segment within the $100k price range. As for the CT4-V Blackwing, it sells for a lot less than a BMW M3, and the manual is certainly more satisfying than the automatic found in the M3. With a golden paint job, Cadillac is upping the game even further.

Just don’t call it Metallic Pee.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
