JAPAN’S LIBERTY WALK GIVES THE FORD BRONCO A MUSCULAR MAKEOVER

Wider Fender Flares Make A Big Difference

Japan-based Liberty Walk has been working on several vehicles to add to the portfolio of tuned cars. The most recently unveiled project was the Ford Bronco, which took a trip to the Land of the Rising Sun, emerging with exquisite upgrades. Though the work only revolves around exterior design and not any tunes, it is a significant step up and something that gives the Bronco a more aggressive appearance.

The wheel arc bolt-on design is made of FRP and is offered as a bundle and will set you back about $3,080 for abroad markets. If you plan on ordering the option, you better be ready to get your hands dirty with some tools and a steady hand to paint the fenders. Outside of the flares, if you want your Ford Bronco to look more like what’s in the images, you’ll need to look to a different company.

The new front bumper is made of steel and incorporates a bulbar-like piece. It features integrated parking sensors and room for a winch behind the license plate. That is joined by a new rear bumper and fresh side steps consisting of steel. As for the beadlock wheels, those are wrapped with ultra-fat mud-terrain tires to aid traction once the surface becomes slippery. To fit under the bulky fenders, the entire body was lifted significantly higher compared to stock, allowing the truck to drive over more considerable obstacles with less concern about scraping.

Since a lot of this build is do-it-yourself, we recommend adding a snorkel, trail lights, and other features that take this from an aggressive-looking SUV to an aggressive and capable off-road machine. Liberty Walk also gave the off-roader some decals, which were applied to the windscreen and the rear quarter panels as a reminder of who provided the fenders for your build. It’s unclear if the company plans to launch more upgrades for the Ford Bronco, but one thing is sure: the Fender flares they offer look exquisite.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
