The Jeep Wrangler 4xe has been quite the hit since it’s rolled out, as it’s considered the fastest-selling plug-in hybrid on the market (yes, there have been price spikes, but unfortunately that’s not unique to the nameplate). The concept built for SEMA showcases factory-backed parts and accessories from Jeep Performance Parts (JPP). Giving passionate off-roaders an idea of how they can build upon the award-winning off-road vehicle.
Jeep Wrangler 4xe SEMA 2021 Concept Exterior
This radical Jeep Wrangler 4xe SEMA 2021 concept starts with a JPP 2-inch lift kit paired with Fox shocks explicitly tuned for the new Wrangler 4xe. The concept rides on JPP Beadlock-capable wheels with functional Beadlock Rings, mounted by BFGoodrich KM3 37-inch tires. Protecting the underbody of the vehicle are custom rock lights located on all four corners to illuminate the ground and help the driver avoid damage from rocks and debris. A JPP stamped steel bumper features a custom single-hoop winch protector with an LED light attached to it. At the front of the vehicle, a JPP Gorilla Glass windshield offers three times the strength of a stock windshield. A pair of JPP 5-inch, off-road LED lights sit at the base of each A-pillar, using a concept A-pillar bracket enables the driver’s side light to fit around the plug-in charging port door on the fender.
The Wrangler 4xe concept features JPP tube doors that match the Ivory Pearl exterior color of the vehicle, while JPP door-grab handles make entering and exiting the 4xe easier. JPP rock rails and other black accents that contrast with the exterior paint have a distinctive Dark Neutral Metallic Grey found both outside and inside the vehicle. In addition, custom graphics located on the fenders and hood add to the aggressive outer appearance. At the rear of the vehicle, a JPP Swing Gate Hinge Reinforcement allows for a full-size spare, and a JPP Center High-Mount Stop Lamp (CHMSL) Relocation Kit provides a third brake light in the center of the spare tire.
Wrangler 4xe SEMA Concept Interior
The interior of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe SEMA concept has eye-catching Mopar Blue Katskin leather seats with tungsten stitching. The floor has four drain plugs provided by the three-piece JPP vinyl floor. Stainless-steel JPP pedal covers feature black rubber pads to add extra traction to the pedals, while a custom JPP instrument panel rail system securely holds personal devices in place.
The tailgate features a custom trail-rail management system with multi-position cargo loops to safely secure gear, while a JPP swing-gate flip-down table adds a flat surface for a functional flat surface. Lastly, a custom onboard compressor is integrated into the tailgate for air inflation needs.
