RAM REVOLUTION ELECTRIC TRUCK REVEAL GETS PUNTED FROM NOVEMBER TO JANUARY

It Will Now Take Place At CES On January 5, 2023

Ram 1500 Revolution Teaser

Ram’s all-electric full-size pickup truck concept was expected to debut this month in Las Angeles, giving us a glimpse of what the brand has been working on behind the scenes. Production is slated to start in 2024, which is behind the competition, but that’s by design. However, Ram announced that they will push the Revolution concept debut back to the massive Consumer Electronics Show early next year.

Ram 1500 Revolution Concept: Details

The Ram Truck brand will unveil its Ram 1500 Revolution concept at the world’s most influential tech event in Las Vegas on January 5, 2023. The truck is loaded with exclusive advanced technology features. The BEV concept truck will be a visionary roadmap and provide a glimpse into the future, showing how the leading truck brand will once again redefine the pickup truck segment. Ram’s move toward electrification supports the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan to lead the way the world moves by delivering innovative, clean, safe, and affordable mobility solutions.

Ram will offer electrified solutions in the majority of its segments by 2025 and all of its segments no later than 2030. Ram electric vehicles, including the Ram 1500 BEV production vehicle that debuts in 2024, will push past the competition as leaders in a combination of areas truck customers care about the most: range, towing, payload, and charge time.

Teaser images were released in March, which offers some clues to Ram’s design direction for the 1500 EVs. The Chevrolet Silverado EV went in a different direction from the traditional Silverado trucks, which is the opposite of what Ford did with the F-150 Lightning, which they made sure looked similar to the F-series trucks. It’s hard to tell what Ram plans to do with the Revolution line. From the design queues within the most recent teaser images, the windshield is forward-mounted, the hood is shorter, and we can see a large four-door cab. At the back of the truck, there’s a subtle angle in the pillar, while a sizable red outline with bold RAM lettering highlights the tailgate.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
