Specialty Vehicle Engineering has just announced the 2023 model year editions of their most iconic creation, the Yenko Camaro. The special vehicle offers customers 750 HP and is available on 2023 LT1, 1SS, and 2SS Camaros in coupe and convertible with automatic or manual transmission and emission legal in all 50 states (e.o. pending). But, if customers want even more power and performance, SVE offers Stage I and Stage II options for the Chevrolet muscle car.
2023 Yenko Stage I and II Camaro: Details
The standard 2023 Yenko Camaro uses the production 6.2L engine and a 3.0L twin-screw supercharger to boost the performance output to 750 horsepower. However, look no further than the 2023 Supercharged Yenko Camaro Stage I and Stage II for even more power and performance, which features SVE’s powerhouse engine that delivers 1100HP with 910 lb-ft. of torque for Stage I, and 1150HP with 960 lb-ft of torque for Stage II. Both feature a blueprinted LT1 aluminum block and computer-balanced race-quality rotating assembling. Which included forged 4340 steel crankshaft and H-beam steel rods, forged aluminum pistons, CNC ported high-flow LT4 cylinder heads with ARP high-strength heads, and main studs.
There is no substitute for cubic inches or supercharging to maximize engine performance. This is why SVE developed its own supercharged custom-built 415 C.I.D. (6.8L) engine, based on the production 6.2 Liter LT1 engine that’s included in the 2023 Yenko Stage I and II Camaros. Based on the SS 1LE with an automatic or manual transmission, the 2023 Yenko Stage I and II Camaro included all of the great performance features the 1LE offers to balance the power of the supercharged engine properly. Features include:
- Magnetic Ride Control
- Electronic Limited-Slip Differential
- Performance-Tuned suspension with unique bushings
- Springs and stabilizer bars
- Heavy-duty cooling system, including engine oil cooler
- Dual outboard radiators
- Transmission cooler and rear differential cooler
The functional 1LE front splitter helps reduce nose lift, and the rear spoiler keeps the back end firmly planted on the race track. The 1LE also features Recaro Performance seats to help keep the driver and passengers in position. The 2023 Yenko Stage I and II Camaro’s have a unique appearance, including Yenko side stripes and the body color painted carbon fiber hood with an exposed carbon fiber hood scoop that blends perfectly with the lines of the Camaro. In addition, 1100 HP or 1150 HP badges on the raised hood scoop cowl and decklid spoiler let everyone know these cars’ power.
Finally, the limited edition 2023 Yenko Stage II Camaro is only available in a coupe with a manual transmission for optimal race track performance, while the Stage I Camaro is only available in a coupe with an automatic transmission for those racers who prefer not to use a clutch. In addition, there will only be 50 of each of the 2023 Yenko Stage I and Stage II Camaros built, and you can expect them to come with a hefty price tag.
