THERE’S A C8 CORVETTE FOR RENT ON TURO

If You Can’t Own One, Rent One

Attention: a C8 Corvette has popped up on Turo. This is currently the only Corvette with its engine in the middle on the car sharing platform.

Turo

The car in question is available in Miami, Florida, for $329 a day. It’s a fully loaded 3LT model, in beautiful Ceramic Matrix Gray, and a set of Vossen wheels help set it apart from any other white C8 Corvettes that it may come across. In our humble opinion, these blow the stock rims out of the water and elevate the already sexy C8 Corvette to a new level. Overall, the black painted wheels and Z51 package elements contrast well against the flat gray paint.

Inside, this Corvette has a Stormtrooper color patter, with black and white GT2 seats. It’s not clear if this was intentional, but we’d like to think the owner picked the red seat belts to match the red brake calipers. Overall, this is one fine looking C8, and the fantastic pictures only help it.

Turo

For those not familiar with Turo, the platform is essentially AirBnB for cars. Owners list their own personal cars on Turo, and anyone can rent them out. For people that don’t drive their cars much, they can make some money instead of letting them sit stagnant. The owner of this Corvette is considered an “All-Star Host” with many happy five star reviews.

For the people that rent cars, you can get something far more interesting than a typical airport rental car. Everything from economy cars to full blown supercars are available. For enthusiasts, it could be the best way to get behind the wheel of some of your favorite cars. And because you can drive it for a day or more, its a better experience than a dealership test drive. This C8 Corvette is a great car to do just that with.

Unfortunately, if you’re under 25, there’s no chance of driving this car. And people under 30 need additional background checks, should they consider dropping the $329 daily rate for the opportunity to pilot a C8.
