Buying a new vehicle right now isn’t exactly a walk in the park, as markups are showing up in every corner of the marketplace. From private sales to dealerships, it’s almost impossible to find a vehicle for MSRP, and the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor is no exception.

We can see similar trends with highly buzz-worthy vehicles, such as the C8 Corvette Stingray and new Ford Bronco. These vehicles are some of the most anticipated launches in years, and the same can be said for the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor, with markups sending the price of the new off-road truck well beyond $100,000.

2021 Ford F-150 Raptor Listed With $50,000 Markup

One Ford dealer in Indiana is bold enough to list a loaded 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor at a listed price of $133,525 USD, marked up a full $50,000 USD from its listed sticker price. Yeah, a fully loaded $86,525 USD Raptor is already a lot of money for a truck. So to see this thing go for twice the price of a C8 Corvette Stingray is pretty aggressive. Yet, there will always be somebody willing to pay this kind of money to be an early owner of one of the most off-road capable trucks on the market today.

What You Get For The Money

You get a lot for your money when purchasing a 2021 F-150 Raptor. Starting under the hood is the standard 3.5L V6 EcoBoost engine that produces 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. When adding the Raptor 37 Performance Package (pictured) with 17-inch Forged Aluminum Bead-Lack Wheels, and 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires with special Fox Shock Absorbers, Raptor 37 Graphics, Recaro Unique Leather, and Alcantara Suede Seats with Blue Accents. An included Tow Technology Package, 360 Degree Camera, and Rigid LED Fog Lights, and the list keeps going.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
