When it comes to getting more performance out of a Ford Mustang, there is perhaps no company more respected than Roush Performance. The Metro-Detroit based tuning and race shop has been cranking out serious performance machines since 1995, and remains the go-to place for die-hard Mustang enthusiasts. In keeping with this tradition, Roush Performance has just unveiled their most powerful and most extreme package yet for the iconic pony car. We’d like to introduce you to the 2021 Roush Stage 3 Mustang and all of its 750 horsepower glory.

Like the Ford Mustang GT on which it is based, the 2021 Roush Stage 3 Mustang is powered by a 5.0L Coyote V8 engine. Unlike the stock car however, this car comes with a massive Phase 2 supercharger strapped on top. With some help from the forced induction system, Roush Performance has managed to extract 750 horsepower and 670 lb-ft of torque from this latest Stage 3 Mustang. Buyers will also have the option to spec a more aggressive 775 horsepower Power Boost Package should they so choose. Even in the “low” horsepower guise, this new Stage 3 Mustang will do 0-60 MPH in just 3.6 seconds. Take this thing to your local drag strip and Roush says it’s capable of ripping off a quarter-mile pass in just 11.2 seconds. The best part however is the fact that buyers can spec either a 6-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

In order to keep this muscle car at peak performance at all times, Roush Performance fits the car with their Powertrain Cooling Package. This consists of a larger radiator, auxiliary coolers for the transmission and differential, and heat-extractor vents in the bodywork. There is also a trackside cooling function that will keep the car cool after the ignition is keyed off, which utilizes the car’s electric fan and intercooler pump to keep things chilled out.

Speaking of the track, the 2021 Roush Stage 3 Mustang also comes equipped with an uniquely- calibrated MagneRide active suspension. Roush says that this upgraded pony car can pull an impressive 1.07g around the skidpad, putting it on par with other high-performance machines. If you need more track-ready hardware than what comes as standard, the company also offers the Podium Package. This option brings upgraded Brembo front brake pads and performance slotted rotors, as well as an Active Aerodynamic Carbon Fiber Wing that can create up to 2.5-times more downforce than the standard spoiler. Agate grey forged wheels are also available as a lightweight option for those hunting down lap times.

Like every Roush Mustang, this car comes with quite a few visual tweaks as well. Most noticeable is the R9 Aero Body Kit, which is offset by the company’s Stage 3 Graphics Package and badging. A set of Roush 20-inch Flowfrom wheels are yet another hint as to what is going on with this muscle car. Inside, you’ll find a custom interior complete with quilted leather seats. The optional Sport Interior Package furthers the interior customization, by bringing upgrades like branded floor mats, a boost gauge, Stage 3 serialized dash and engine bay badges, as well as a unique cluster overlay among other tweaks.

The 2021 Roush Stage 3 Mustang starts at $24,995, not including the price of the donor Ford Mustang GT. While not exactly a cheap performance option, the shop does give its customers some added peace of mind thanks to their warranty programs. That comes by way of a  5-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty and a 3-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty. That is a lot of carefree driving in what might just be the craziest aftermarket Mustang you can buy right now.
