MOTION R DESIGN WILL TURN YOUR FORD MUSTANG MACH-E INTO A HOT HATCH

This Is A Mach-E Turned Up To Eleven

The Ford Mustang Mach-E may be a great electric crossover with some spirited performance and Mustang styling, but it’ll never get away from the fact it’s an EV family hauler. Ford themselves have tried to shake that image with the insane Mach-E 1400, but that’s a one-off concept for track use only. If you want your Mach-E with more aggression, UK tuner Motion R Design has you covered with their new exterior styling kit.

Motion R have made a name for themselves in the UK selling Ford Transit and Ranger body kits and aftermarket components, but this is the first time they’ve had a go at any Mustang, let alone the brand new Mach-E. And the results are certainly attention grabbing. Painted in Grabber Blue, we are getting some serious Focus RS vibes, something a stock Mach-E already has in the driving experience.

To achieve this bold look, Motion R have fitted a number of parts to the Mustang Mach-E. There are widened, flared wheel arches, a deeper front splitter sitting on a more aggressive front bumper, and a new rear bumper and diffuser. Further up the vehicle, there’s a grille with some horizontal bars, giving more dimension than Ford’s stock unit, and the rear has a mid-mounted rear ducktail spoiler. Mounting the spoiler below the back window really accentuates the sloping roofline of the Mach-E.

As for wheels, they are a set of massive Quantum 44 forged alloy wheels. Motion R haven’t given any sizing information, but their increased size paired with the body kit and flared wheel arches make their take on the Ford Mustang Mach-E look significantly lower than stock, despite no mention of suspension changes. Again, anyone seeing Focus RS here?

Motion R’s Mustang Mach-E body kit is all carbon fiber, but owners can choose between a standard weave or forged, which has a marbled appearance. And while we don’t have any images of the interior, Motion R say they’ll be offering a full Nappa leather re-trim, carbon fiber trim matching the forged or weaved exterior parts, and a carbon flat bottom steering wheel.

This Ford Mustang Mach-E is also the first in an upcoming line of vehicles from Motion R, called the E-Series. While they don’t say each all be an EV, the name and first vehicle suggests so. There’s also no word on if the UK company will offer the kit in the US, so let us know if you’d want this for your Mach-E in the comments below.
