Give Your Futuristic Mustang Some Classic Style

A member of the Ford Mustang Mach-E forum Mach-E Club noticed something interesting recently. On the Ford Accessories website, there are a number of accessories available on the new electric Mustang SUV, ranging from cargo liners to a tailgate tent. But one stood out in particular that isn’t something we’d expect Ford to offer on the Mach-E. The forum user spotted a set of wood grain graphics stickers for owners to turn their Mach-E into a woodie, as if that’s something owners are calling out for.

But the strangeness gets deeper. If you click on the link of the forum page now, a 404 error code comes up and the woodie graphics aren’t listed anywhere on the Ford accessories website. Just like a Sasquatch, they mysteriously left as soon as they appeared. Luckily, the user managed to catch some screen grabs clearer than any Bigfoot picture, which you can see in the original post.

They show the kit consists of a hood cowl sticker, side rocker panel stripes and a rear tailgate sticker that surrounds the Mustang badge. The wood itself is fairly dark, but the wood grain is certainly there. When visible, it carried a price of $213.73. If any Ford Mustang Mach-E owner wants to make their vehicle stand out from the herd, look no further.

If you like the idea of some stickers on your Mustang Mach-E, but the wood isn’t the style you’re after, Ford also offers a matte black option that’s comes with all the same graphics, pictured above. It’s also considerably cheaper, at $146.69.

The Ford Mustang is one of the most customizable vehicles on the market, but it remains to be seen if the Mach-E will get the same love. Given the controversy over putting a Mustang badge on an electric crossover, there’s a good chance it won’t have the same aftermarket support and strong car culture associated with the traditional Mustang muscle car.
