Television and movies alike have always been dotted with iconic vehicles. Whether it be the Bullitt Mustang, Magnum’s Ferrari 308, the General Lee Charger or KITT, these cars may be among the most recognizable in the world. Not every vehicle to grace the airwaves was a low-slung sports car however, as one Mr. T can surely attest to. During the 1980’s, the Chevrolet G-Series van became a genuine hero thanks to “The A-Team”. And now you have a chance to own a genuine A-Team van thanks to the folks at Worldwide Auctioneers.

This A-Team van started its life as a 1979 Chevrolet G-Series, before it was given a Hollywood makeover in 1983, which converted it into the iconic GMC van you see before you. This particular van is one of six that were licensed by Universal Studios to help promote the show in the United States and Canada. It may not be a perfect on-screen replica, but this particular example does look the part. The unmistakable black and silver exterior paint is present, which is offset by the van’s signature orange stripe. The rear spoiler looks as cool as it ever did, as do the red-painted wheels.

The “A-Team” accessories don’t stop on the outside either. The interior features four captains chairs, a CB radio, as well as an entire arsenal of prop guns. Should the fake small arms not be enough to deter some fools, this particular A-Team van is also equipped with a proper mounted machine-gun. It’s probably best not to get pulled over in this thing.

This A-Team Van is slated to be auctioned at Worldwide Auctioneer’s virtual Scottsdale Auction on January 23. The seller has also noted that all proceeds from the auction will be donated to the J. Kruse Education Center, who provides career pathway development to students and transitioning veterans. The tie-in with the television show will certainly make an enticing offer for die-hard fans. This isn’t exactly a low-mileage example however, with 90,297 miles on the clock. Perhaps that will convince the next owner to actually let other people enjoy this van at shows and events.
