Fun fact: you can actually fit your Chevrolet Camaro SS with the spoiler off the ZL1. Available when ordering or as a Chevrolet accessory, the spoiler can give owners a taste of the ZL1 style and brings some aerodynamic benefits. It comes in four different colors for the 2021 model year, and comes in at a surprisingly reasonable asking price.

Chevrolet recommends using it in two configurations: one for purely the styling it brings, and the other for performance. Used alone, it’s unique design certainly ramps up the intensity of the Camaro SS without adding the pricy 1LE package designed for the track. But if you pair the ZL1 spec wing with the Chevrolet Camaro SS accessory ground effects or front splitter package, owners can expect a rather significant 61 percent decrease in lift, with only a 3 percent increase in drag.

Chevrolet also allows Camaro SS owners to mount the massive carbon-fiber wing from the range-topping ZL1 1LE model, as well.

The wing is available on the 2021 Chevrolet Camaro configurator, as a $595 option. It’s only available as a body color part when paired with Red Hot, Summit White, Black and Riverside Blue Metallic. If you’re ordering your Camaro from the factory, it will come preinstalled. Or, if you are an existing Camaro owner and want the wing, you can order it in the same colors with all of the necessary install components for $495. It’s worth noting, however, that drilling and adhesives are required for the install, so you may need your dealer to do it, and it’s definitely a permanent change to the vehicle.

Buying it as an accessory aftermarket also allows more color customizations. Because it only comes in four body colors, ordering a black wing could pair well with other body colors, providing some contrast.
