With Halloween just around the corner, Stellantis has given the 2022 Dodge Challenger two distinctive appearance packages, giving customers a chance to stand out even more on the road. Or be a little spooky with the unique Hemi Orange and SRT Black Appearance Packages. For those who prefer sedans, the same packages are available on the 2022 Dodge Charger.
2022 Dodge Challenger Hemi Orange Appearance Package
The HEMI Orange appearance package shares the distinct orange look of the early-era HEMI engines and will be available on the GT RWD and Scat Pack Widebody. An orange accent tracer compliments gunmetal striping following the length of the vehicle. Midnight Grey Metallic Grille and fender badging are outlined by orange. The Scat Pack Widebody receives Orange Brembo six-piston calipers that contrast with Carbon Black “Warp Speed” 20-by-11-inch wheels. However, the GT RWD features Brembo four-piston calipers with Medium Gloss Black 20-by-9-inch wheels.
The interior of the Dodge Challenger with the Hemi Orange Appearance package doesn’t differ from that of the Charger. Orange stitching embellishes the instrument panel, console lid, door uppers, armrests, shifter boot, and leather flat-bottom steering wheel—Seats sport orange stitching as well as a Dodge Rhombi seatback logo. The Scat Pack Widebody receives an orange-and-black “392” instrument panel badge on the inside. In addition, blacked-out interior modifications are added to the steering wheel bezels, shifter body and cluster trim, vent rings, and cup holders.
Dodge Challenger SRT Black Package
The new appearance options differ most noticeably from the 2022 Challenger and Charger in the SRT Black package available on the SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye Challenger trims. Offering blacked-out exterior badging on the grille, fender, and spoiler. No changes are made to the exhaust tips on the Challenger as Black Nickel is standard on all SRT models.
Ordering for both packages is available through dealerships now, with the HEMI Orange package retail price at $2,995 for the GT RWD, and $1,500 for the Scat Pack Widebody. The SRT Black appearance package has an MSRP of $695.
