Despite 2023 being the final year of production for the legendary Dodge Charger and Challenger muscle cars powered by the benevolent Hemi V8 engine, sales aren’t as great as expected. A simple drive to your local Dodge dealership might reveal that these cars remain on the lot, waiting to find a home. This comes due to pricing, dealer markups, and, of course, being a target for theft. Since sales for the cars are currently not all that great, Dodge has decided to bring back its Power Dollars Program, which promises $10 per horsepower. That means the deal can offer customers close to $8,000 in potential savings; it excludes the brand’s most powerful vehicles.
Dodge Power Dollars Program: Details
According to CarsDirect, the program is taking place through February 29th; this deal includes the Dodge Durango R/T with Hemi V8, which can mean up to $3,600 in savings. But there’s a catch, as not all Dodge vehicles are included in the Power Dollars Program, like the Hellcat. However, in regions like California, you can stack the deal with $4,250 in customer cash for up to $7,850 off MSRP.
For the 2023 Dodge Charger, the Power Dollar Program can give the SXT, GT, and R/T RWD trims between $2,920 and $3,700 in savings, though the most significant discount is on the R/T. Unfortunately, the Scat Packs are excluded from this deal. However, like before, Dodge offers 0% APR for 72 months on the GT. Unfortunately, these offers can’t be combined, so taking the financing offer could be a better deal. For the 2023 Dodge Challenger Power Dollar Program, the SXT, GT, and R/T trims are eligible with $3,030 to $3,750 off MSRP, with the most savings coming with the R/T and once again, Scat Packs are excluded. Also, like the Charger, the Challenger offers 0% APR for 72 months as an alternative, though only the SXT trim is eligible this time.
Finally, the Dodge Durango SXT, GT, R/T, and Citadel trims are eligible for the Power Dollar Program. That means $2,930 to $3,600 in potential savings with the most significant discounts on the 2023 Durango R/T and Citadel. As mentioned, regional offers could bring this total to $7,850 off the MSRP. So, there are some great deals if you’re planning on getting a Dodge for February.
