Black Friday is a bit like our version of gladiatorial contests here in the United States, as people across the nation gear up for some serious hand-to-hand holiday savings. And while 2020 might not be the best year to go and duke it out with your neighbor over a new toaster, Dodge may have a deal for you. Announced just this morning, FCA will be introducing a special Black Friday version of the Dodge Power Dollars program for the 2021 Dodge Durango lineup.

For those who aren’t familiar, the Dodge Power Dollars incentive program is rather self explanatory. FCA will give buyers a $10 cash incentive for each and every horsepower that sits under the hood of the vehicle they are buying. When you consider the fact that Dodge has one of the most powerful lineups for sale today, the potential for savings is hard to ignore. Take the base model Durango SXT for example, which brings up to $2,950 in cash incentives for buyers thanks to its 295 horsepower engine. The rest of the lineup and their respective deals break down as follows:

Model: SXT
Horsepower: up to 295 horsepower
Cash Allowance: up to $2,950

Model: GT
Horsepower: 295 horsepower
Cash Allowance: $2,950

Model: Citadel
Horsepower: up to 360 horsepower
Cash Allowance: up to $3,600

Model: R/T
Horsepower: 360 horsepower
Cash Allowance: $3,600

Model: SRT 392
Horsepower: 475 horsepower
Cash Allowance: $4,750

It is worth noting that the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is missing from the list, but that is probably for good reason. You see, this Black Friday version of the Dodge Power Dollars event only runs between November 27-30, and is only applicable to dealer stock. While not impossible, the chances of your dealership having one of these super SUVs that isn’t already spoken for is rather slim. If and SUV isn’t your thing, FCA notes that the deal is also applicable to 2020 model years Challenger and Charger models. Why go to the local big box store this holiday season when you can hit the burnout box instead?
