If you want to get a Hemi V8-powered Dodge Durango, 2024 will be your last chance to obtain one as Dodge has just kicked off a yearlong celebration of the brand’s high-performance SUV with the 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI. This special Dodge Durango is the first in a series of “Last Call” models to commemorate the final calendar year of the V8 Hemi engine production for the SUV.
After that, the Durango is expected to take a more *ahem* compliant approach. Gone will be the Hemi and Hellcat V8 engines, and in their place will likely be what we see with the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Which is to say: plug-in hybrid power, and/or Hurricane inline-six engines.

Production for the all-wheel-drive 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI will be limited to just 1,000 units, with a planned 250 each of four available exterior colors: Diamond Black, Destroyer Gray, Vapor Gray, and White Knuckle. Since this is the first of the “Last Call” series for the Dodge Durango, the brand is bringing back the Dodge Horsepower Locator for fans looking to get one of these limited edition SUVs.
The Dodge Horsepower Locator is an interactive tool to help customers locate a nearby dealer receiving a Durango “Last Call” model. Customers can refine searches by vehicle color and zip code radius, and the list of available vehicles will be updated daily as dealers receive additional allocations. Dealer information and a link to the dealer website are also provided to make reaching out and placing orders easier for customers.
Based on sales goals, Dodge Durango AlcHEMI models will be allocated to dealers in January. Customers can visit the Horsepower Locator in late February to search for dealers with available allocations and reserve their vehicles. Production for the AlcHEMI will begin in April, with cars to begin arriving at available dealerships starting in May.
As for pricing, the 2024 Dodge Durango SRT 392 AlcHEMI is available at a U.S. manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $3,595, in addition to the MSRP of the Dodge Durango SRT 392 premium model. That would bring the total price to $91,390, including the destination charge.
