Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) is at again. As you can witness in the video below, the black and red 2022 Stage II Yenko Chevrolet Camaro roars with vigor during its dyno test. You’ll want your volume up for this.

SVE 2022 Yenko Stange II Camaro Inbound

We don’t know full details about the mega muscle car just yet, but what we do know is that the engine is supercharged and sports a seemingly oversized airbox and provides 50 more horsepower than the previous version from the 2021 model year. Which was another 50 more horses more powerful than the 1,000 horsepower 2020 model.

Also of late, SVE debuted a California Edition Yenko Camaro, which is emissions compliant in the CARB states. Suffice it to say, it’s down a bit on output with just 750 hp, but now those still holding out in The Left Coast that have a thirst for power can enjoy the roar of a new Yenko. And it will keep up with your neighbor’s Hellcat, and your other neighbor’s newly compliant Roush Stage 3 Mustang GT.

2022 Stage 2 Yenko Camaro

Production numbers and options of the 2022 Yenko Stage II Camaro are not yet public, but if we follow the pattern of the past two years, it’s likely that only 50 of them will be built. Pricing for the 2022 Yenko Stage II Camaro is also TBA, but the previous model year set you back $69,995, plus the necessary Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE to get things started. Expect the pricing to increase along with the horsepower, but not in a direct correlation.

Specialty Vehicle Engineering, formally SLP Engineering, has produced over 65,000 vehicles in a time span of over 25 years, with everything from the Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk, to the modern GMC Syclone. Their vehicles are only available through exclusive GM dealers in the United States and Canada, we believe that will remain the same for ordering the 2022 Stage II Yenko Camaro.
