The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Banshee Concept’s exterior takes the Dodge Muscle car into the future with nods to the past. The interior is also stylish with all the latest tech, as well as lightweight with a driver-centric cockpit with all the essentials in a cohesive package.
Dodge Charger Daytona EV Banshee Concept Interior Design: Details
The Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Banshee Concept features the largest center screen in a Dodge vehicle. At 12.3 inches, it angles nearly ten degrees towards the driver. Meanwhile, a 16-inch instrument cluster is curved, creating a cocooned, driver-focused feel. In addition, an 8-by-3-inch Head-up Display (HUD) helps put additional vehicle information where the driver needs it. Meanwhile, a slim instrument panel (IP) and mid-bolster feature Ultraviolet color with blue and silver accent stitching adding a “waterline” that extends across the car. The Ultraviolet color touches multiple interior surfaces, including the console, doors, and seats, creating a halo that works with the Attitude Adjustment Lighting to enhance shadows and highlights.

Circuit-like graphics originate on the carbon floor and are strategically placed to surround the occupants, flowing under the seats, moving to the center console and IP, and coming back to the driver. The Dodge Charger Banshee Concept’s doors and center console follow the sculptural design theme, including only the needed elements. A pass-through area under the console creates a much lighter feel, and clever center console touches include a jet-fighter-inspired cap that flips up when engaging the start button. Additionally, the unique pistol-grip shifter is inspired by the past but has modern execution, functioning as a mechanical piece that delivers an effortless shift experience when squeezing the trigger.
A new steering wheel design offers a thinner feel, with a flat top and bottom. The center spoke of the steering wheel isn’t connected to the rim, giving it a floating feel. Paddle shifters are mounted on the wheel, with the PowerShot button on the right and drive mode controls on the left. A panoramic glass roof gives an open-air feel to the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Banshee Concept, helping to include rear passengers in the vehicle experience.
The Dodge Charger Banshee Concepts seats feature an abstract, perforated pattern of the Fratzog logo. The unique pattern fades out as it travels down the seat and reappears as it flows towards the center of the seatbacks.
