Dodge is bidding its lineup of modern-day Hemi Charger and Challengers farewell for the 2023 model year. But, the farewell isn’t just in North America as the brand is sending the “Last Call” special editions to Europe, so select markets across the pond will also enjoy the spectacular vehicles.
Dodge Last Call Series In Europe: Details
Not only will those models sold in Europe be able to have the 2023 Dodge Charger and Challenger models include a special commemorative “Last Call” underhood plaque that consists of the vehicles name and its silhouette, as well as “Designed in Auburn Hills” and “Assembled in Brampton” which makes each model a true collector’s item. In addition, the two lineups include 14 exterior color options, including three of the Dodge’s signature heritage colors: B5 Blue, Plum Crazy, Sublime, and the modern classic Destroyer Grey.
Dodge is also expanding the reach of its popular SRT Jailbreak models to celebrate this special edition in style further. The Jailbreak models were initially introduced for the Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody trims, unlocking color combination ordering restrictions and exclusive content. In 2023, the Jailbreak package was made even more affordable and extended to the Challenger and Charger Hellcats.
The first “Last Call” vehicle to be introduced in Europe was the 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown, a version that pays homage to the famous 2016 concept model introduced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas that same year. The vehicle is evoked by many details, including the red “392” fender, the “Shakedown” spoiler graphic with red accents, red six-piston Brembo brakes, “Shakedown” IP badge, and Premium Black Nappa/Alcantara seats with red stitching, which also makes its way onto the console and steering wheel.
The 2023 Dodge Challenger Shakedown will be available with all Service and Warranty Packages. Since Dodge is only producing 1,000 models – 500 R/T Scat Pack (In Destroyer Grey) and 500 R/T Scat Pack Widebody (in Pitch Black) – getting one of these will be difficult. Just 55 exclusive examples will land in Europe, all of which are the Challenger Shakedown R/T Scat Pack Widebody in Pitch Black. Equipping the model with content from the Plus Group, Technology Group, Navigation, and Carbon/Suede is possible. Pricing for these scarce special editions Challengers has not yet been announced.
Alas, it’s unlikely that The Old World will take official delivery of the 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 – that 1,025 fire breathing dragon of a muscle car appears to be allocated for the United States and Canada only.
