FORD BRONCO RTR “FUN-RUNNER” CONCEPT: A LOOK INTO HOW THEY MADE IT

The Ford Bronco RTR Fun-Runner SUV started as a collaboration between RTR Vehicles and Fun-Haver Off-Road, led by off-roading champions Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Loren Healy, creating an aggressive style from the aftermarket company that was on display during the 2021 SEMA Show.

Details On The Ford Bronco RTR Fun-Runner

The Ford Bronco RTR Fun-Runner SEMA Show SUV started out a Bronco Badlands with a 2.3L Ecoboost engine under the hood, then builds upon it with newly developed parts. These unique Bronco parts will be available as a limited-edition package from RTR, or sold individually from RTR Vehicles and Fun-Haver Off-Road.

Bronco RTR’s will become available at Ford dealers and will resemble the Fun-Runner with the exception of the long-travel suspension and wide-body fenders. The Fun-Runner features an RTR Grille with Signature integrated LED lighting, RTR Graphics package, RTR Rock Rails, RTR Rear Bumper, RTR Spare Tire Carrier w/ Modular Accessory Mounting System, an RTR Jerry can mount, and the high-lift jack mount. In addition, project X Series 1 FF.70 Lights are mounted above the windshield with a 3 spot and 2 flood beam pattern.

Fun-Haver Ford Bronco exterior parts include a modular front bumper and wide-body fenders, containing the RTR Tech 6 forged bead-lock wheels wrapped in 37-inch Nitto Trail Grappler tires. On the inside, four RECARO Sportster ORV seats give passengers safety and comfort. As we previously mentioned, the Bronco RTR Fun-Runner also features long-travel suspension with a Ultimate Dana 60 semi-float rear axle, Dana 44FDU front axles, and Fox Performance Elite 2.5 coilovers. All of this gives the Bronco suspension that is seen in race trucks.

Additional accessories for the Bronco RTR Fun-Runner include a Blizzard Box Fridge/Freezer by TYPE S for when drivers and passengers work up a thirst, All-Weather Floor Mats, and an RTR Serialized Dash Plaque with a Vaughn Gittin Jr. signature.
