The Ford Super Duty Tremor is one of the most capable pickups on the planet, with huge tires, upgraded suspension and that glorious Godzilla V8. It also gets an optional 12,000 pound Warn winch, courtesy of Ford Performance Parts, that can haul the heavy beast out of just about any situation. Ford says F-250 and F-350 Super Duty owners without the Tremor package are getting jealous of this powerful winch, and they will now offer it to a much broader range of heavy duty pickup trucks.

The Ford Performance Parts Warn winch will be available on Super Duty pickups 2020 or newer, with select options. They need to be either a F-250 or F1350, have the optional 7.3-liter Godzilla V8 or 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 diesel, have 4×4 equipped and have the available dual batteries and dual 397-amp alternators onboard. Got all these things on a 2020 pickup, and you can have the winch installed as a dealer accessory. Alternatively, you can order a new Ford F-250 or F-350 Super Duty with the part.

The Warn winch resides behind the steel front bumper for an integrated appearance, and doesn’t impede airflow at all. It features high-tensile strength, abrasion-resistant synthetic cable to hit that wild 12,000 lb limit, but the coolest thing about it is the operation. The winch is the only wireless remote operate winch in the full size, heavy duty 8,500 pounds GVWR pickup class, and can be operated with that remote control or an included wired connection.

This Ford F-250 and F-350 Warn winch should be a great option for any Super Duty owners wanting to give their trucks a little more off-road capability. Specifically, we see this Ford Performance Part being great for people who plan to modify their pickup on their own. Yes, the Tremor is hugely capable, but some people will want to build their off road truck on their own. This gives those people the opportunity to get a high quality, powerful winch already installed from the factory. Alternatively, Ford says it’s perfect for the job site, as you can pull heavy construction vehicles if they get caught in a sticky situation.
