If you’re in the market to get a 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with the six-speed manual transmission, you’re finally in some luck, though time will be running out. The manual transmission option has finally been added to the dealership order bank system for the supercharged models after only being available on Challenger R/T and R/T Scat Pack models earlier in the model year.

2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Manual: Details

According to StellPower, the six-speed transmission is still not listed on Dodge.com in the Build & Price section, which was only recently updated for the 2023 model year, so it’s not too surprising that the site hasn’t been updated to reflect this highly anticipated option. Though, things get worse when you do a bit of thinking. Not only is the 2023 Model Year ending in a couple of months but since we’re later in the year, most vehicles have already been allocated to dealerships.

That means there are relatively few Challenger SRT Hellcat allocations available around the United States, and there’s only a limited amount of time for the manual transmission Dodge Challenger Hellcat to get equipped with manual transmissions. Customers looking to get their hands on this final opportunity to get a 717 horsepower muscle car with a third pedal before production ends will need to use the Dodge Horsepower Locator to find a dealership with a remaining allocation for a Hellcat Challenger. Once a dealership is located with an available allocation, they’ll need to contact that dealership and begin ordering a manual Hellcat while they still can. Having a sense of urgency may be important here.

As a 2023 Dodge Challenger Hellcat with a manual transmission will be produced later in the production year, that means that it will be significantly rarer and more collectible in the future, which could bode quite well for owners that manage to obtain one. Otherwise, best of luck snagging one, and have fun rowing through the gears with 717 ponies under your right foot.

Should you get your hands on one, its likely going to be even more rare and collectable than any of the “Last Call” Dodge muscle cars. Even more rare than a Demon 170.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
