The 2023 C8 Corvette Z06 is launching in the coming months, and even in the face of tight inventories, surging gas prices, and uncertain market conditions otherwise, demand and hype of the 670 horsepower All American Supercar continues to glow white hot. And in an effort to get ahead of the curve, Chevrolet has uploaded a whole video set of its Corvette Academy series that helps everybody understand the new Z06 inside and out.

Corvette Academy Z06 Videos: Details

The first video, titled Beauty Within The Beast, gives a closer look at the interior design of the Corvette Z06, which features luxurious soft leather. Like the C8 Stingray, the cabin is designed around the driver and gives them a unique driving experience. There is a total of seven different interior color combinations. Stitching can also be customized. By the time an order is configured and placed, customers will have a very special Corvette for themselves. It doesn’t matter what color scheme is chosen. The design will continue to be beautiful and will help deliver a unique experience for the supercar.

At a glance, the Corvette Z06 has a similar appearance to the Stingray, but don’t be fooled, as every bit of the exterior design has been done to optimize the vehicle for aerodynamics. This brings us to the second Corvette Academy Video: Conquer The Air. The Z06 features a more aggressive appearance than the Stingray, partly due to having a wider footprint; the supercar is almost the same width as the C8.R. From front to back, the design of the Z06 has it prepared to pounce. The car gets wider as you get towards the back, which is essential for the side inlets so that they can grab more air. With the Z07 performance package, the vehicle has 734 pounds of downforce at 186 MPH, with 188 mph likely being the max speed.

The Corvette Z06 is a performance machine, and Chevrolet hit a homerun with the car’s design mixing a unique interior with enhanced vehicle performance to give the ultimate driving experience.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
