Ford Bronco owners can get more excited about their planned summer off-roading trips as the Ford Performance catalog finally adds the Tube Doors for both the four-door and two-door Broncos. Providing an enhanced open-air experience for the vehicles without sacrificing the added sense of security that comes with having a door.

Ford Bronco Tube Doors: Details

The Ford Bronco Tube Doors are crafted with 2-inch steel pipes featuring attractive and rugged black powder coat finishes. The handle covers on the doors are paintable, and altogether the doors can add a bit more brush protection. All of the accessories meet all Ford safety and corrosion requirements, and while they use the OEM Latch, there obviously isn’t any integration with the electrical system.

Ford Bronco 4-Door Tube Doors

The Ford Bronco Tube Doors are for customer installation only, and Ford won’t authorize them to be installed on new vehicles prior to delivery on the first retail sale. Ford also doesn’t authorize the accessory for any commercial installation by a dealer or other commercial party. In addition, the tube doors are intended for off-road use only and aren’t designed to provide the same protection you get from a factory door. Pricing for the four-door Bronco tube door kit sits at around $2,250. Meanwhile, the two-door kit costs $1,250.

Interestingly the pricing has increased since the steel tube doors first became available to order for the 2022 Ford Bronco. The 2-door Tube doors that were available through the 2022 Build and Price tool came in at $850, while the price for the 4-doors was $1,360. It’s not clear why Ford has decided to increase the cost of this accessory, but inflation could likely be the excuse. Either way, if you didn’t order your Bronco with the accessory, your only option will be to pay the additional price when ordering them through the catalog.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
