Hennessey Performance Engineering has just announced the arrival of its all-new Bronco VelociRaptor 500. This is the eighth VelociRaptor model from Hennessey’s development team, and has been engineered to be more potent and capable than Ford’s factory Bronco Raptor.

Hennessey Performance engineers applied their touches to the Bronco Raptor’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. Adding a new high-capacity intercooler, proprietary engine management system tuning, and high-flow exhaust modifications which have allowed the Bronco VeliciRaptor 500 to deliver nearly 20 percent more output. 500 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of terrain conquering torque.
While the Hennessey Bronco VelociRaptor 500 increases capability with serious speed on the road and outstanding off-road capability. Hennessey didn’t stop there, and the engineering team boosted road presence and style by lifting the vehicle three inches and offering its Hennessey Heritage graphics, adorned with a Hennessey bucking bronco logo. We wonder if Ford will like that.
The Bronco VelociRaptor 500 is priced at $32,950, which excludes the price of the base Ford Bronco Raptor needed for the build. That will easily put one of these builds into the $100,000 range out the door. In which case, that’s F-150 Raptor R money.
The package also includes a transformation of the exterior with custom VelociRaptor bumpers, unique Hennessey 10-spoke alloy wheels, Hennessey Heritage graphics, and VelociRaptor 500 Bronco badging. The inside features Hennessey’s embroidered head restraints, all-weather floor mats, and a unique plaque.

Since obtaining a Ford Bronco Raptor isn’t easy, you can opt for the VelociRaptor 400 package, though it is a bit rare as well. The package boosts the 2.7L EcoBoost V6 engine to an impressive 411 horsepower and a meaty 603 lb-ft of torque. That’s a jump of 81 hp and 188 lb-ft of torque. Hennessey targeted building just 200 of these vehicles for this year, and while they cost around $80,000, it’s a highly capable 4×4 that can accelerate from 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds.
