The arrival of Speedweek for Dodge has brought about a plethora of big news to talk about. The fact that this is the final year for the Challenger and Charger as we know them, is a big deal. A convertible Dodge Challenger is a big deal. The fact that you can build your own Dodge Challenger Drag Pak from the ground up via Direct Connection, is a big deal. But there’s even more to report on beyond these exciting headlines, as Mopar has unleashed a new digital storefront with the help of Amazon.
The new Mopar store by Amazon essentially gives enthusiasts a new outlet to shop their favorite accessories, gear, and merchandise. This year is the 85th anniversary of Mopar and the store celebrates that by offering a variety of exclusive and vintage items, some of which exhibit 1950’s and other era’s logos that pay homage to the brand’s longtime automotive history. The store also offers specialty items that commemorate the 85 years of service as well as current brand logo items, all of which are officially licensed, naturally.
That being said, Amazon isn’t the only place to find Mopar gifts, apparel and merchandise. The brand retains its own e-store presence via Mopar.com where the catalog book is a bit thicker however the ability to have your Mopar gear sent to you in two days time via Amazon Prime seems like a no brainer. It wouldn’t be surprising if the Amazon storefront continued to bolster its catalog especially with the holiday season on the horizon.
In terms of what you’ll find, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and Mopar are all represented in the store (heavier emphasis on Mopar) with the cheapest item we found being just over ten-dollars (a Mopar branded toy Jeep Wrangler) where the most expensive was a neon sign for $425.
