2024 Mustang RTR Spec 2 Will Debut Next Wednesday

2024 RTR S650 Ford Mustang Upper Grille Teaser

RTR Vehicles has made quite the name for itself modifying various Ford muscle cars and trucks. Owned by Formula D legend Vaughn Gittin Jr., RTR is readying its next product, and it’s in the shape of the new S650 Mustang. While it’s no secret that it’s on the way at this point, RTR took a moment to post a recent teaser to the Mustang7G forum for fans to gawk at.

2024 S650 Ford Mustang RTR: Details

The grille will make its first appearance on a Vapor Blue Mustang GT. RTR Vehicles will unveil the 2024 Mustang RTR Spec 2 on May 24th in Orlando, FL. The grille has been taken up a notch from the previous generation with tiered LED lights, which give off an infinity effect for the car. Based on what we can see, it goes over the Mustang badge on the front of the vehicle, but this should clip in where the OE grille lies and bolt in with whatever screws hold the original in place.

We can only hope that RTR is prepared for high demand on this Upper Grille, as it adds more definition to the front of the vehicle, and without the lighting, it looks plain and boring, so it’ll be high on the list for owners that are already piecing together their accessory list. This is just one of many accessories that RTR has put together for the S650 Ford Mustang, and it won’t be long until all are unveiled. Based on the sketch that can be found on the website, the next-gen RTR Mustang is bound to be a handsome one.

This will be more than just an unveiling but also a car show with limited parking, so if you plan to go, reserve parking while you can. There will also be food at the event so you don’t starve.

Written by Zac Quinn

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
