The next generation S650 Ford Mustang has been spotted out testing on the roads while dawning an overwhelming amount of camouflage to ensure that absolutely no one would see the car’s design. However, TheSketchMonkey YouTube channel was able to make out some minor details one might not generally notice and put together a rendering of what the S650 Mustang could look like.

S650 Ford Mustang Design Rendering Video

Knowing that the S650 Ford Mustang is intended to be sold globally, some design differences will make the car appear to be less of a muscle car and more like a sports car while still holding the Mustang looks. As mentioned in the video, the car’s profile doesn’t appear to be different from the S550 Mustang. For this particular rendering, the focus was entirely on the front of the vehicle, which takes inspiration from the Mustang Mach-E for apparent reasons and incorporates the minor design queues we can see from the spy photos of the S650 on the road.

At the end of the video, we get an image that compares the current generation Ford Mustang with the rendering of what the S650 could look like, and the side by side definitely helps show the difference. The headlights are the same as the Mach-E with minor changes to make each of the three lights look like one connected piece rather than three individual lights.

What are your thoughts on the idea of the Ford Mustang having a sportier appearance rather than a muscular one? Of course, these are just theoretical designs, and we won’t know for sure what the S650 Mustang will look like until it debuts, but we know that it’ll be a poster-worthy car. There will undoubtedly be a powertrain for everyone, with the S650 Mustang expected to have hybrid power and full gasoline glory.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
