When the C8 Corvette debuted, it was available with a carbon fiber aero package that proved to be insanely popular. So popular, in fact, that GM’s supplier couldn’t keep up with the demand, forcing them to cancel the package altogether. This left many of the C8 customers who opted for the carbon front splitter and side skirts without an option. Until now. The carbon fiber masters over at Wisconsin-based SpeedKore just dropped a carbon fiber C8 splitter and side skirts, looking remarkably similar to the package first offered by Chevy.

First up is the carbon front splitter. It weighs only 1.6 pounds, and gives the front of the C8 a much more aggressive look. Chevy’s kit produced downforce, but SpeedKore doesn’t give any stats for theirs. Still, it’s the same shape as the OEM splitter, so it probably has the same aerodynamic qualities.
Next, the side rocker panels are also modeled after the original Chevy kit, and weigh only 4.4 pounds each. Like the front splitter, they definitely add to the exotic looks and aggression of the C8.SpeedKore offers the carbon front splitter and rocker panels in matte or gloss finishes.

All in, and the carbon fiber body kit starts at $4,562.
SpeedKore has made a name for themselves with their SEMA cars specifically. In 2018, they revealed a full carbon bodied Dodge Demon. Only four were ever made. The Demon is an incredibly fast drag car, but its a hefty beast. A full re-body in carbon fiber has to help.
In 2019, SpeedKore announced their all wheel drive, twin turbo Demon powered Dodge Charger. Expectedly, it’s body is full, matte carbon fiber. Best of all, it has front exit exhaust that actually come out in front of the engine. Only issue is these vehicles are very expensive and exclusive, so luckily now you can get something from SpeedKore at a lower price, if you own a C8 Corvette.
