The current generation of the Chevrolet Camaro is a shadow of its predecessors, while the latest Camaro is getting pushed into a dark corner by internal and external forces. Nevertheless, a fanbase remains for the muscle car, especially the previous generations. As such, Dom Host, a visual artist and do-it-yourself hot/rat rod tinkerer better known as altered_intent on social media has created a CGI-to-reality presentation within his digital garage, and this one heading to SEMA.
‘Relentless’ Chevy Camaro: Details
Instead of doing everything himself, Dom Host has decided to team up with Cody Keen, a custom car builder at Murfreesboro, Tennessee-based Charlies Custom Creations & Machine. To make his vision of this epic Chevrolet Camaro a reality. There are some significant plans for the SEMA 2023 builds he will be doing this year, and chief among them will be this ‘Relentless” Chevy Camaro.
Its name could be an understatement. The Chevrolet seen in the renderings will be absolutely incredible. To give an example of this car’s potential outside of the images we have, the list of partners working on the project will also help provide some idea of how epic this thing will be.
Currently, the list includes Auto Metal Direct, a sheet metal and restoration parts company, Charlies, DEI – Design Engineering, Inc., which makes heat and sound control products. In addition, Wegner Automotive, known for their LS/LT engines and Bowler Performance, will provide the transmission for the Chevy Camaro. Hopefully, a stream of updates will be posted to the interweb so we can see the build as it unfolds. But if not, a proud Hail Mary moment when the build is completed would be cool to see. But if not, we will have to wait until November, when the 2023 SEMA Show takes place. Either way, this ultimate widebody monster of a Chevrolet Camaro will be epic and something we won’t want to miss at the event.
