The mad scientist at MEGAREXX Trucks out of Wilmington North Carolina have done it again, this time adding a third row of seats to their wild MegaRaptor truck. Dubbed the MegaRaptor 7, this Ford Super Duty-based machine boasts seven leather seats and a fully removable hardtop. A truck that comes with substantial and custom upgrades isn’t cheap though. The starting price for one sits at $169,950 and yes, they’ve already sold one.
The MegaRaptor 7 utilizes a Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Lariat 4×4 as its base however the completed MegaRaptor 7 sits a whopping 9-inches wider than a stock F-250. Supporting the ultra-wide body are 4.5-inch Icon progressive coil springs in the front and 5-inch multi leaf springs in the rear. King reservoir shocks, Icon dual steering stabilizers, and adjustable track bar all contribute to its off-road capabilities. In addition, the MegaRaptor is fitted with some of MegaRexx proprietary longer and stronger radius arms. It moves across any terrain with its massive 46×15.5-inch Michelin XZL tires (395/85R20). They wrap 20-inch 3-piece aluminum military wheels.
Powering the behemoth is a 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Turbo-Diesel producing 475 horsepower and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, just as you see in a factory Ford Super Duty, which is absolutely plenty of power. A high approach angle smasher front bumper with a 40-inch light bar all contribute to its aggressive and trophy truck like stance. On the inside you’ll find Ebony Black micro-perforated leather under a twin-panel panoramic power moonroof. The third row seats are power-folding, a first for the MegaRaptor lineup, something sourced from Ford’s Expedition and is also protected by a steel safety cage furnished under a removable fiberglass top. Of course, the exterior wouldn’t be complete without a laser-etched, MegaRaptor on the rear.
