CHECK OUT THIS NEW ONE-OF-A-KIND MEGAREXX MEGARAPTOR

A Fully Equipped MegaRaptor

MegaRexx MegaRaptor

MegaRexx makes some fantastic and jaw-dropping vehicles, and each build is unique due to the vast number of options and configurations available. Though, they all share a few things, including incredible diesel power and richly optioned cabins. However, MegaRexx’s latest build takes everything the company offers and puts it into one truck known as the MegaRaptor.

MegaRexx MegaRaptor: Details

The MegaRaptor is finished in sultry Carbonized Gray Metallic with MegaRexx’s gloss-black “tuxedo” paint scheme on the cab and a gloss-black honeycomb grille with amber marker lights and menacing “MegaRaptor” logo. To push the visual impact further, the build team body-color-matched the rock rings and applied LineX to the bumper trim plates. Finally, they fitted this MegaRaptor with a gloss-black bed cage with satin-black side plates and 4WD King 9″ dual-row LED side lights—additionally, a high-approach angle Smasher front bumper, and a High & Tight rear bumper. Providing ample forward illumination is Anzo switchback headlights and a TrailFX 40″ dual-row LED light bar.

MegaRexx MegaRaptor

The MegaRexx MegaRaptor has a 6.7L Power Stroke Scorpion V8 Turbo-Diesel that cranks out a best-in-class 475HP and a massive 1,050 lb-ft of torque. The aggressive stance of the truck is courtesy of 6″ BDS progressive coil springs with Fox Racing 2.0 shocks up front, 5″ BDS multi-leaf springs, and Fox Racing 2.0 shocks at the back. The rear height is fully adjustable with Ford’s rear spring bump stops. This fully-equipped truck also features the MegaRexx stronger and longer radius arms, Icon dual steering stabilizers, and an Icon adjustable track bar.

But that’s not all that contributes to the insane off-road capability of the MegaRaptor, as this truck also rides on 46″ x 15.5″ Michelin XZL tires wrapped around 20″ 3-piece aluminum military MRAP wheels with no spacers protected with custom rock rings. To compensate for the upgrades, the truck has been re-geared to 4.88:1 gears, and the speedometer was program-corrected.

Getting into this monster of a truck is made easy with an Amp Research Powerstep XL side steps aid. Once in the cabin, one will find a twin-panel panoramic power moonroof, heated and ventilated driver and passenger seats with driver-side memory upholstered in Black Onyx micro-perforated leather, and all the factory options you could ever desire. Ultimately, the MegaRexx MegaRaptor is a nod to the owner’s statement that “Whatever the customer can dream, we can build.”

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
