The SEMA show in Las Vegas is home to an assortment of vehicles, from vintage pickups to the ultimate off-road-ready adventure rigs. Now, a 2020 Jeep Gladiator is up for sale on eBay. With many modifications added for its SEMA debut, it could be the perfect vehicle if you want something already built and ready for adventure.
SEMA-built 2020 Jeep Gladiator: Details
The 2020 Jeep Gladiator rides on 40-inch Toyo Open Country mud-terrain tires mounted to KMC Beadlock wheels and Currie high-pinion Dana-60-style axles. According to Hagerty, Dana 60 axles were initially meant for 3/4 ton trucks, making these axles extraordinarily sturdy and ready to take a beating. In case you didn’t know, stock Jeep Gladiators are equipped with Dana 44 axles which are still pretty tough. If that wasn’t enough, this Jeep Gladiator has been packed to the brim with aftermarket parts.
The Jeep Gladiator is equipped with a Thule Tepui Explorer tent, Pelican cases for gear, two CO2 tanks for running air tools or filling up the big tires, a roof-top rack with a full-size spare, brawny bumpers front and rear, while the front one features a 15,000-pound winch. In addition, the listing on eBay details an assortment of other aftermarket products for the interior, engine, suspension, and gear for off-roading. So to say that this Gladiator is well equipped might be an understatement.
Unfortunately, all of this doesn’t come cheap, and if you wish to buy it outright, the price is $137,500, which the seller states is still less than the Jeep’s original MSRP plus the cost of the parts used in the build, not to mention the cost of labor for installation. That’s a hefty sum, especially considering that the regular Jeep Gladiator Rubicon costs around $50,000. Still, once you outfit the vehicle, that’ll quickly add up to more. It’ll be interesting to see what this machine sells for. Would you rather build up an Overlanding rig yourself or buy one already made like this one?
