Vaughn Gittin Jr. just posted a massive teaser video for something happening on the Faroe Islands that seems to involve the Mustang Mach-E 1400. In his teaser video, posted on Instagram, there are multiple drone shots of him standing on a cliffside and the RTR Mach-E 1400 drifting and speeding up a hill. Seems like a gymkhana run, if we didn’t know any better.

One might wonder whether he might be about to attempts a big aerobatic feat using Ford’s souped-up version of the Mustang Mach-E, the Mustang Mach-E 1400. The 30-second clip shows Gittin Jr. walking towards a cliff that drops off into the sea, the video also shows the drifting and linear acceleration capabilities of the Mach-E 1400.
Most of these shots include drone footage especially close to cliffs that drop directly down into the ocean suggesting a jump of some kind or an extremely risky drift attempt, kissing the coastline. His caption mentions this is one of the most insane videos he has been part of, so we know it’s something crazy.
The Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400
We know the mustang Mach-E 1400 took time to develop, 10,000 hours to be exact. We also know that the vehicle has seven individual motors that propel it forward and a 56.8 kilowatt-hour battery pack. The idea behind it is to be successful in any type of motorsport event, drift, drag, circuit and so on. The powertrain of the vehicle consists of three motors on the front axel and four on the rear. It also utilizes a two stage cooling system one of which implements dielectric coolant.
In a prior video that Ford Performance released the Mustang Mach-E 1400 showcased its abilities to hang with the likes of NASCAR’s Joey Logano, Ken Block, Hallie Deegan, Chelsea Denofa, and Gittin himself. The vehicle is capable of pretty much anything, only time will tell what Gittin Jr. has been up to.
